Photo of the mural created in the school

This annual program brings in a visual artist who works with all of the students during their regularly scheduled art class and teaches them a new medium of art with the final result being a project left for future generations at Beverly Farms Elementary School.  Peter Krsko, an example of the Artist in Residence program, worked with all the students in the school to create a 12’ x 9’ mural.  The students explored shapes and forms of animals using simple silhouette stencils, which they layered to create intricate designs in a colorful abstract collage.
