STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON: CALLING ALL 5th GRADE FAMILIES!

As many of you know, the PTA organizes six staff luncheons throughout the year. To divvy up the duties and donations, each grade is assigned to “host” once.  The first Staff Appreciation Lunch will take place on Tuesday, October 2nd. 5th Grade families will be hosting this luncheon and we need YOUR HELP to make it a success!

These lunches are set up for the entire faculty and staff—that’s 80 people! And they really, truly appreciate it. Many come early to set aside their plate of food and there are rarely any leftovers at the end of the day.  

Many hands are needed to pull off this event. If you love to cook, then bring in your signature dish. If you don’t know béchamel from Bolognese, no worries! You can donate beverages or share your favorite prepared item. 

To make this as easy as possible, please sign up through the link above. You can drop donations at Alex Yablonski’s house (8803 Daimler Court) on Monday evening or bring them to school by 10 AM on Tuesday, Oct 2.

When selecting food to bring, please consider that we don’t have warmers and that the event lasts for several hours (10:30 to 1:30). Food that can be served at room temperature is ideal. Labeled dishes/serveware will be returned.
