Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the BFES PTA! Your involvement is critical so we can continue to provide enrichment activities and community-building events to support Beverly Farms. Volunteering is also one of the best ways to get to know parents, teachers, and administrators.
PTA Board Positions Available for the 2024-2025 School Year
VP of DEI
Lead the efforts for our PTA to have advanced racial justice, economic justice and disability advocacy in our school.
MCCPTA Delegate
MCCPTA Delegates Assembly is the body that bridges the council and local PTA/PTSAs. We need one more delegate to represent the BFES PTA at monthly meetings and report back to the PTA board.
PTA Committee Positions Available for the 2024-2025 School Year
*Multicultural Night–Plan and Coordinate this event which showcases the diversity of BFES and celebrates our various cultures.
*Garden Committee–Provide support to the community garden located off the blacktop and coordinate with teachers and students on including the garden in school activities.
*Book Fair–Help plan, set up, and coordinate the annual scholastic book fair.
*Reflections–Coordinate the BFES submissions to the annual National PTA Reflections Art Contest. This year’s theme is “Accepting Imperfection”.
*Variety Night/Talent Show–Plan and Coordinate the variety/talent show where students show off their amazing artistic talents.
*Science Fair/STEAM Night–Plan and Coordinate the Science fair where students use their creativity and curiosity to showcase their scientific findings.
*Skate Night-Plan and Coordinate our Annual Skate Night at the Cabin John Ice Rink
Room Parents
A Room Parent is an important role in your child’ class throughout the school year. It facilitates communication between parents and the teacher, school administration, and the PTA; supports the teacher in needs that may arise; and help plan class activities and events. (learn more)
We invite two (2) Room Parents for every class in the 2024-25 school year.
Please note, in order to volunteer at the school you must complete the online training for recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. Here is the link to the online training.
